Here are some comments by groups who have stayed with us:

“Thanks again for having the guys for the week they really enjoyed themselves and will definitely be back to stay. Cheers for everything”
Craig C.,December 2009 (Group of friends who visited Christchurch to attend a rock concert)
“Just a quick line to say thanks again for the accommodation last weekend. the house was brilliant! Unfortunately I had to leave early on the Monday morning and didn’t get a chance to say thanks, apparently I missed out on some pretty good home made bread too! Anyway the house was perfect, the service was brilliant and you were a pleasure to deal with. I’m sure you’ll see us again next time we have a large group in Christchurch and I’ll definitely be recommending the old country house to all my friends and family. Kindest regards.”
John & Liz Anderson, October 2009 (Large family reunion/40th birthday)
“Tom & staff (especially the delightful girl who was new and did the weekend), Thank you for all your help & assistance which made our weekend together one to remember. The extra mile you went to was very much appreciated by all the family. Wishing you all the best. Kind Regards.”
Hallie & The Sacred Heart College 1st Hockey Team, August 2009 (School Hockey Tournament)
“Dear Tom & the staff at The Old Countryhouse, Thanks so much for having us stay over this week & for all you have done. Many thanks.”
Heather, August 2007 (Group of high school boys attending a national brass band competition in Christchurch)
“Thank you for providing us with such great accommodation, we enjoyed our stay very much and have been spreading your praises around the school and to all we meet. My own son is in the tourist industry as a white water raft guide and travels around the world chasing the rafting seasons so we have given him the information to pass onto customers who are making their way to Christchurch. We are looking at getting a trip organised to come back down your way and you will be our fist port of call. Many Many thanks, we are so impressed with your facilities. Kindest Regards.”
