When we renovated the villas at The Old Countryhouse hostel in Christchurch we paid great attention to the feel and flow of the place and incorporated a lot of extra facilities for your enjoyment.
The character and sense of space of traditional villas have been retained but we have also included modern style and comforts such as:
- Full insulation with European-style gas central heating
- Bold decor and comfortable stylish furniture
- Plenty of showers with self-contained toilets for added privacy
- Large, well ventilated and lit kitchens with lots of cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, bench space, fridge/freezer space and large inviting country-style dining room tables
- Fully equipped guest laundry including washing machines and clothes dryers
- Guest computers with Internet access in private areas and UNLIMITED FREE WIFI coverage in all rooms
We even provide a few luxuries:
- Peaceful rejuvenation in our outdoor and smoke free Spa and Sauna setting. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we are unable to run the Spa and Sauna at full capacity, and we apologise this service may not be open during your stay
- Organic herb garden to garnish and season your meal, fresh lemons from tree all-year round
- Inviting wide verandas, gardens, lawns and patio area with outdoor seating
- A plentiful supply of clean tea towels
