Do you know of any cheap car or camper van hire company?
Yes, we personally know most rental car operators in Christchurch. We can help you find a good deal to hire a car or camper van and make the experience nice and easy for you. We will phone around the operators to obtain the best possible price for you plus with many hire companies we can organize a FREE pick up from our hostel.In our experience we often hear from our guests that they appreciated our help getting a good deal on their rental vehicle and they often comment that we have helped them save time and money. Do you provide bedding?
Yes, we do provide full bedding. Towels are provided for all private rooms or are available for hire for a small cost.
How far are you from the city centre?
We are only 1500 meters from Cathedral Square and there is a bus stop just outside the hostel.
How far are you from the Intercity Bus Depot?
We are only 1500 meters from the new Intercity Bus Depot in Armagh Street and this is an easy walk through our flat suburban streets.
Car Parking? Bicycle Parking?
Cars: Yes, there is off street parking plus lots of FREE on street parking.
Bicycles: Yes, we have a bicycle parking area inside the property grounds where you can leave and lock up your bicycle.
Arriving outside our reception hours?
We are pleased we can arrange a late check in for guests with bookings into PRIVATE ROOMS ONLY and arriving at night time.
Do you have Internet/WiFi?
Yes, we have three computers with internet for guest use for a small cost. Guests with their own laptop may use our free and unlimited WiFi with coverage throughout the whole hostel.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
All cancellations or changes to the booking must be received by us by email before 7pm at least 2 full days prior to your arrival date (NZ local time). We will confirm the receipt of your cancellation or change of booking by return email (during our reception hours). But, if we do not hear from you and you do not arrive, then we will charge your credit card with the full amount for your booking.
We have a minimum stay period over Christmas and your booking MUST include the three nights of 24, 25 and 26 December. During this time of the year, any cancellations must be received by email ONE WEEK PRIOR TO your arrival. Cancellations within one week and failure to arrive will be charged at 100% of your booking.
